The Grand Slams and Masters 1000 tournaments in tennis are guaranteed the presence of legendary players in the world, but not the ATP 250 or 500. Earlier this day, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic confirmed that they are slated to take part in the Qatar Open 2025, slated to take place on February 17 in Doha, and now it comes to note that tennis star Carlos Alcaraz is set to play in the Barcelona Open 2025.

This tournament is slated to take place from April 12 to 20th. Tickets have been on sale since November 26th, and there is no doubt that his presence in the showpiece event will accelerate this. Despite being one of the youngest players, Carlos Alcaraz boasts many years of experience on the clay of Barcelona, making him a strong opponent to beat.

After missing the 2024 edition due to grave injuries, the 24-year-old tennis legend will return to the Barcelona Open 2024 next edition as a part of his preparation to try to win the Roland Garros another time. The Spaniard defeated Pablo Carreno in 2022 while toppling Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2023 and emerged victorious in the tournament. If this player managed to win the next in 2025, then he would be equaling the records of Manuel Orantes, Roy Emerson, and Mats Wilander, who have won the titles three times in their careers, but far behind Rafa Nadal's 12 titles.
