There might be a lot of hype for the Grass Season right now with Wimbledon coming up next month and we all will be looking forward to which players will be dominating on Grass as well. It has been a great season so far and we all have been looking forward to the games on Grass as well.

Though we all are looking forward to Wimbledon, we should not forget about the Olympics which will be taking place after the tournament this season. After all, this is one of the global events where the best tennis players will be representing their country in the aspiration of a medal. There have been a lot of top players in the mix who have gone on to achieve this feat and establish themselves as Olympic heroes.

Russian players to miss out in Paris

There will be a lot of countries looking to put their best players to get as many medals as they want especially in the game of tennis. One of the top teams in the Olympics has been Russia, who have a great record of winning medals at this event. They also have a great set of players in their ranks as well with the likes of Andrey Rublev, Karen Khachanov, and Luidmila Samsonova, who have not only been the best players for Russia but also were the ones to win a medal for the nation as well.

Unfortunately, it turns out that the three players will not be featuring this season, since the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) has decided that the players need time to rest saying, "Rublev, Khachanov, Samsonova will not play [at the Olympics]. Andrei needs recovery, he plays everything in a row. The body is not made of iron.” With this statement, it is clear that the federation wants to make sure the players are 100 per cent fit and has chosen not to risk any damage by featuring in the Summer Olympics 2024.
