There have been many young players who have impressed us this season with their performances and one of the biggest prodigies in the game of tennis is Carlos Alcaraz. The 21-year-old Spaniard has had a decent season so far where he has won 3 titles this season with two Grand Slams to his name as well. He has been breaking a lot of records recently and it has been great to see him perform and win some big matches.

This has still been a great season for Carlos Alcaraz as he right now has stats of 39-9, but the last two tournaments have been disappointing for him. Alcaraz was eliminated in round 2 of the US Open. However, the 4-time Grand Slam winner has had a great start to the Davis Cup where he won the doubles match and made sure Spain won their first game of the group stage against a very talented Dutch side.

Alcaraz takes inspiration from F1 drivers.

Though Alcaraz will like the way he and his team performed in the first match, the loss against Zandschulp in the second round is tough to get over for everyone, but the World number 3 had a very unique and pleasant way opened up about the losses and says that he took inspiration from Formula 1 drivers saying " The way that the drivers approach races is insane. Their focus on every step of the warm-up, everything, it’s crazy. I tried to think about doing the same when I approach my matches.”

This was great to hear from Alcaraz who has made it clear that he wants to be more focused on the game he even brought up his achievements and disappointments when he further stated " At some points, I want more time to relax and celebrate, but at other points, I prefer not to think about it too much. I just try to keep going.” It is great to see Alcaraz still having a positive mindset towards this game and we hope he can find some great form in his upcoming games
