'She gave me a good pep talk yesterday'- Grigor Dimitrov on Serena Williams presence- WATCH

We are currently in the 4th round of the US Open and it has been a brilliant week of tennis so far. This is currently the last games for the players before the playoffs begin and we are sure to get event more iconic matches going forward. It has been a tournament full of surprising moments which all of us have enjoyed so far in this intense Grand Slam event.

One of the matches in round 4 that was a treat to watch was between Grigor Dimitrov and Andrey Rublev. Both the players gave us a great fight in this game which went on till all 5 sets were complete. Eventually it was the Bulgarian who emerged victorious in this 5-set thriller which the fans enjoyed watching till the end. This was perhaps one of the most intense games we have ever seen in the tournament which was what we expect from a major tournament like the US Open.

Grigor acknowleged Serena in the building 

Though we have to give Andrey Rublev some props for giving it his all during the match, in the end it was Dimitrov who was the one that  made it through to the playoffs. However, his victory was not all that the crowd was celebrating as Dimitrov also had an old friend and legend Serena Williams who was cheering for him in the stands of Arthur Ashe during his match. When asked during the interview whether he got nervous seeing her the World number 9 had a great reply saying " for some reason not in front of her. She gave me a good pep talk yesterday.”

The fist bump from Serena in the crowd also says a lot about their healthy relationship and it was clear to everyone that this was a happy moment for both of them. The fans will now want to know what kind of pep talk was given to the Bulgarian which resulted in him performing so well in this match.
