Serena Williams recently rejioned the ITIA testing pool, which led to fans wondering about her potential return to action. The officials, who are a part of it, will have to provide details about their whereabouts everyday to be available to undergo the process of testing. The 44-year-old confirmed that she will not be a player again.

Given the complexity, commitment, and logistics involved, usually only the active athletes sign up to be a part of the testing pool. After Serena joining International Tennis Integrity Agency became official, fans started to wonder and some even believed that she will be back in action. The rumors spread wildly, which led to the star player reacting to the saga.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion took to X and reacted with a post, claiming that she will not return to Tennis as a player. "Omg yall I’m NOT coming back. This wildfire is crazy," Williams wrote on X, who was last a part of Tennis in the US Open 2022.

Since then, she has appeared in many Tennis events as a guest or in other capacities. In her illustrious career, Serena won 23 Grand Slam titles, which is the second most for a WTA star after Margaret Court.

She's one of the fewest players to win at least three Grand Slam titles in all of the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. At the Australian Open and Wimbledon, Serena won 7 titles each. At her home country in the US Open, Williams won 6 titles, while she won 3 titles in the French Open.
