This is the last day of the round three games in the Roland Garros and there are still a lot of games left for the Clay season finale. This has been a brilliant tournament and we have enjoyed the first week which has given us some great matches. There are still some top-ranked players in the mix and we still have some big games to look forward to.

One of the games the fans were looking forward to was the third-round game between world number 4 Alexander Zverev and Duth number 1 player Tallon Griekspoor. There was no doubt that who the favorite in the matchup was with Zverev who has been having a great tournament so far. Despite this, we can still not count out Griekspoor who has been impressive as well.

Zverev edges out win in 5- setter

This was not an easy game for Zverev at all. This was a great 5-set game between the German sensation and the Dutch number 1 which kept us on our feet throughout. Griekspoor taking the game 6-3 was already a big factor in the game which got everyone's attention. However, when Zverev managed to get back to his dominant best in the next two sets winning the second and third set with a score of 6-4 and 6-2 respectively, it looked like another easy 4-set victory which was not the case since Griekspoor out of nowhere came back to win the 4th set and set up an intense 5-set game.

It was the 5th set that caused a lot of drama since the match was nearing an upset as Zverev was trailing 1-4 which included two break point wins from the Dutch. Then came one of the most epic comebacks as the number 1 German player wins the next three games and ensured the game goes down to a tiebreaker. Zverev easily won the deciding tiebreak and managed to edge out a win to reach the fourth round of the tournament. This was one of the best matches where both the players needed to be lauded for their effort in a big Roland Garros game.
