The Doubles category in Tennis is one of the most underrated categories in the game. There have been some great tennis players who have managed to win some major titles in this category. Even Indian Tennis players have had a great run in doubles with the likes of Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza being one of the most iconic players. This is that category where teamwork is required to achieve success in the major tournaments.

The Tennis duo which is achieving some iconic feats lately is Indo-Australian duo Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden. These two players have been in top form recently. The Australian Open this season was one of the biggest achievements for both of these players, where Bopanna also became the oldest Grand Slam winner at the age of 43. These two might be from different continents, but they have great chemistry on the Tennis court.

Bopanna and Ebden eye another title

Bopanna and Ebden are clearly making big strides in Tennis as a duo. There is hardly a tournament where they have not finished in the top four. The duo now has their eye on the prize in the  Miami Open after defeating Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in the semi-finals. They will still be up against Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek who are one of the most experienced and successful players in the game. This will be tough competition for Ebden and Bopanna and they will be ready.

This is certainly a proud moment for Bopanna and Ebden, who are still looking in their prime at the age of 43 and 36 respectively. This isn’t going to be an easy game for them, but we still have high hopes for them going forward. They are still showing why they are considered one of the top-ranked Tennis players in the world. These two are currently number 1 and number 2 in the ATP rankings and will be looking to get another title in their grasp.
