We all have enjoyed all the matches of our favorite stars in this season's Roland Garros so far. It has been a great tournament where we have seen some great matches from some of the best players in the world right now. It is safe to say that this Grand Slam has lived up to its standards.

This time we are not going to be discussing the matches, but the kits of the players. Unlike the Wimbledon, we get to see a lot of different outfits from some top players in this Clay season finale. We will not only be talking about which was the best but also one of the worst displays of fashion we have ever witnessed in this current ongoing tournament. To be clear this is not based on how these players have been performing, but how they land up in the court for their matches.

So, here are the 5 outfits ranked from best to worst in the Roland Garros 2024:

1. Marta Kostyuk

kostyuk

Marta Kostyuk is not only one of the rising stars of the tournament but probably had the best outfit when she was up against Brazilian Laura Pigossi in the first round. Kostyuk came in with a deep-cut green outfit with a standing collar. This kits color was looking especially with the red soil surrounding the Ukrainian. Kostyuk and Wilson who sponsored this outfit need props for designing an elegant rig that was complimenting the player well.

2. Kei Nishikori

nishikori

Kei Nishikori might not be on top anymore, but he came back to play his first Grand Slam tournament after 3 years when he played his first game against Canadian Gabriel Diallo. Nishikori was seen in a unique kit with shades of green and blue along with some matching shorts. It is safe to say that the Japanese made an impression in this tournament with probably one of the best-looking outfits which was looking good on the day.

3. Naomi Osaka

osaka

There is no doubt that Naomi Osaka is one of the iconic players who has had some great success in the game and normally comes out with some great outfits. However, the outfit she was wearing in her 1st round match against Lucia Bronzetti was quite questionable for everyone. This was not one of the worst kits in the world but was still looking slightly bland to the eye. There might be some fans who might not find a lot of problems with this outfit, but we expect better from the former world number 1.

4. Jelena Ostapenko

ostapenko

There is no doubt Jelena Ostapenko is one of the most entertaining players in Tennis, but her kit in her first game against Jacqueline Cristian did not look up to the mark. Unlike Osaka which looked slightly bland, this blue and pink outfit looked too bright to the eyes. What made it worse was that it did not complement the background and red soil on which she was playing. It is safe to say that the Latvian's choice of clothing was not something that stood out like it usually does.

5. Carlos Alcaraz

alcaraz

Carlos Alacaraz might be one of the top contenders in the tournament, but his kit on the day was surely not a work of genius. The Spaniard came out with some yellow shorts and a dark blue T-shirt, which looked like he just took out a pair of clothes from a dark closet and just wore it on game day. We all know Alcaraz is one of the best players in the world right now and has been giving us some great performances, but this outfit is not going to get him any fashion points at all. This might be one of the worst outfits we have seen in this tournament.
