Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has recently won the Monte Carlo Masters 2025 tournament in Monaco. The Spanish-born star has defeated Lorenzo Musetti with a scoreline of 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 to win the title here. The four-time Grand Slam winner has shattered many records after winning the title.
Alcaraz has been receiving praise and accolades for his blistering sixth ATP title win in Monaco. Speaking about the same subject, tennis legend Rafael Nadal, who has 11 Monte Carlo Masters titles to his name, went out of his way to praise the junior Spaniard. This win showcases that he is one of the best players on the ATP tour and sends shockwaves through the tennis fraternity ahead of the French Open 2025, where he will be looking to defend his title.

Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz has recently reflected upon Rafael Nadal's record of 11 Monte Carlo Masters titles after bagging his first on April 13th. The star player believes that the things that Rafa did on a clay court are some of the most difficult and greatest things.
Alcaraz feels that winning Monte Carlo titles 11 times with 14 Roland Garros titles seems like the best thing in the world. The star player feels that the achievements that have been achieved by Nadal seem impossible to replicate in the current era.
"I have been talking with my team several times about what Rafa did on clay, probably, it is one of the most difficult things to do in sport or one of the greatest things, not in tennis, in the whole sport. Winning the same tournament 11 times, 14 times, tournaments like this one, tournaments like Roland-Garros, it is the best tournaments in the world. It is something impossible to repeat, so I just got my first one, obviously, I am going to miss this guy (Rafa)," Alcaraz said.
