Tennis superstar Pedro Cachin sent a heartwarming text to legendary Rafael Nadal in his Instagram post after receiving the jersey from him during the ongoing Mutua Madrid Open 2024. Notably, Pedro had faced Nadal for the very first time in his career during the third round of the ongoing ATP Masters 1000 event.

However, the 29-year-old star faced a defeat against Nadal despite his great skills on the tennis court. Notably, after surving for around three hours and four minutes, the great player requested a shirt from the tennis legend during the warm embrace after the game. Following the same, Nadal has given him the shirt that convinced the Argentine to take this act to social media. Notably, the fans have experienced the close encounter between the two legends in the final; however, Nadal went on to outclass him in the third round.

"Thank You Rafael Nadal. It was a dream, this is so nice," Pedro Cachin wrote on Instagram and X.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal has also opened up about his struggles after he defeated Pedro Cachin during the third round of the game. The 37-year-old has talked about the injury battles and how he made his comeback in the ongoing maquee event.

"I'm fine, we'll see tomorrow. Happy, but I don't know how I'm going to get up due to fatigue, but I don't feel like it hurt me, we have to wait but, for me, this is the most important thing. Physically you have to improve in many aspects, but hey, I've held on so I'm fine. I cannot have any concern in terms of playing tomorrow again. That's how the tournament works. I need to find a way to be able to play days in a row and still be competitive. I don't know if I am in that moment yet. Let's see what can happen tomorrow," Rafael Nadal said after his third-round match.
