Though 2024 has been a really interesting season, the player who has had a rare underwhelming season was none other than Serbian powerhouse Novak Djokovic. Though he still kept a decent record and managed to win an Olympic Gold medal, he has barely been active and has not won a single major title. This could perhaps be one of the most disappointing performances we have seen from Djokernole.

Novak to start off his season in Brisbane

There is no doubt that there will be a lot of fans waiting to see what Djokovic has in store in the upcoming season and we all will like to see the best of the Serbian as well. Though we all thought that Djokovic would begin his 2025 season in the Australian Open, it turns out he will be starting it much earlier in the Brisbane International. Being a ATP 250 tournament this could also be a chance for him to end his title drought and find some form as well.

Though there will be people thinking that Djokovic is not living up to his statements of making Grand Slams and international tournaments a priority, this tournament could also be a way for him to get some matches just before the Grand Slam event in Melbourne. The Serbian will be looking forward to start of his season well and this will be the best opportunity for him get some matches and also find a little bit consistency which was missing in 2024 and hopefully come back up in the rankings.
