Carlos Alcaraz comments on the possibility of another classic to be played between him and Jannik Sinner and is excited for another clash against his biggest rival in the game. Can we see another classic between the two just like we all saw in Beijing?

The battle between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz has been a spectacle for every tennis fan in the world as both are currently one of the biggest stars in the game right now and have given us some great matches throughout their career. The two players have featured in 10 games and the last time we saw the two battle it out was in Beijing where both of them put on a 3-set classic and Alcaraz was the one who got the victory in the end.

Alcaraz comments on potential semi-final in Shanghai

Carlos Alcaraz has looked in great form since the Laver Cup and his performance in Shanghai has been equally impressive where he also got his redemption over Gael Monfils in the fourth round. 

However, the people are looking forward to the potential semi-final between the two which Carlos has commented on saying. "It’s a great goal to reach the semi-finals and let’s see if he is going to make it as well. But yeah I’ve seen his matches before mine, playing at a great level."

This statement proves that Carlitos is not only excited to play against the Italian but has also further added to the statement on wanting to see his games before him as well stating, "Watching great matches before mine helps me a lot just to put on a good show when I step on the court. Let’s see tomorrow if I’m going to play after him or not but I’m happy that both of us are going further.”
