'I hope he’s listening to this because ...'- Katie Boulter warns Alex de Minaur after winning Nottingham title

The Grass season has begun and we have seen some great matches this season, with some of the young talents of the modern generation of tennis. There were two warm-up Grass tournaments played this season where we finally got our champions for the Nottingham Open and the Libema Open.

The winner of the Nottingham Open was British number 1 Katie Boulter, whereas the Libema Open was won by Australian number 1 Alex de Minaur. It is great to see the Aussie-Brit couple win their first title in this Grass season in the same month and we will also be looking forward to seeing how they will perform going forward. They are one of the most iconic tennis power couples that we have known and we all are happy to see them get some success as well.

There is no doubt that it was a happy moment for Boulter after winning her third WTA title and she will be celebrating it as well, unfortunately, though her boyfriend might have also won the tournament and is in the top 10, he might have to answer some questions going forward as after the Post Match Katie had some words for him saying, "My boyfriend didn’t make the trip even though I thought he might after his win in s-Hertogenbosch. We will have to be talking about that tonight and see if we’re still gonna be together. I hope he’s listening to this because we’ve got some talking to do.”

We do not know what to think of this statement, but the fans on social media are already enjoying their comments after this statement. Some fans have also gone on to give their opinion on what might happen to Alex de Minaur once he meets his girlfriend next time. We don't know whether to laugh or feel bad for the Aussie since it seems like this has been said in jest, but Katie did look slightly disappointed in the interview as well.
