The Italian Open final is just two days away and this is the moment where there is not a lot of waiting to see who will be victorious in Rome. This tournament was already full of surprises where most of the ATP top-ranked players failed to make it to the playoffs. The only player who managed to go through the competition is Alexander Zverev who has been having a great tournament where the German was still yet to lose a set in this competition.

Alexander Zverev was up against the Chilean surprise package Alejandro Tabilo. We all know that Zverev was the player who was higher-seeded and most accomplished, but we cannot ignore the great journey of Tabilo who came into the playoffs after some great performances which included wins over the great Novak Djokovic and Karen Khachanov. This was also the first time these two were up against each other as well which got everyone intrigued about what this matchup could bring us.

Zverev makes massive achievement after the win

This was the chance for Zverev to finally win his first ATP title this season as well after facing certain heartbreaking losses in the earlier tournaments. However, this was not easy for the world number 5 player as he lost the first set to Alejandro Tabilo losing 6 games to 1. The second set was an intense battle between them which went all the way down to the tiebreaker. In the end, it was Zverev who came out on top with a score of 7-4 to keep himself in the game. This was a match set well where Zverev lost his first set of the tournament and had to struggle to win the second one. In the end, he came back and won the last set convincingly and booked his place in the finals. This is the 3rd Italian Open final and 11th ATP Masters 1000 final for Zverev which in itself is a massive achievement.

This might have not been the easiest of games for the German Olympic gold medalist, but there is no doubt that he has been one of the most dominant players in Rome right now. He is a hundred per cent the most deserving player to fix his place for a chance at the title. This is an opportunity that he will look to make sure he achieves and goes on to win his third title at the Italian capital and 6th ATP 1000 title.
