Carlos reveals his motivation for Six Kings Slam
There are a lot of questions asked on what were the motivations of the players for playing the tournament in Riyadh. Alcaraz's rival Jannik Sinner had one of the safest answers saying that he played the game just because of love for the game and not for the money, however, Alcaraz had something else to say as he said, "Well, I mean, if I say I went there just for fun or to play and forget the money, I'm gonna lie. That's obviously - I mean, every person work for that, as well. You know, that's how life is about."
There might be a lot of people who might find this answer slightly controversial, but in the end, we still have to think about the practicality behind the 4-time Grand Slam champion's answer which further adds to the statement saying " You know, I love playing tennis.. most of the time I don't think about the money. I just play for love or for fun. But you have to be realistic. You have to think that you want to earn money. This answer might cause a lot of debate, but in the end, we have to give props to the sense of reality Alcaraz has.
