Rune opens up on his match against Berrettini

Though this has not really been a season to remember for Rune he will still be happy to get the better of Matteo Berrettini in the 2nd round of Shanghai Masters 1000 where the young Danish came back into the match after being one set down. Holger Rune opened up on his comeback as well saying " He didn't allow me to make many mistakes. I think the same thing happened in the second and third sets but in the opposite direction. Every time he played a little bit middle or short, I was ready to punish him with my shots. It was a good match, honestly."

It is safe to say from the first set it was looking like Rune might see an early exit however it was great to see a bit of fight in him in the last two sets where he proved himself as one of the upcoming stars in the game who can win some big matches and play some of his best tennis on the day.
