Wimbledon 2024 has been a tournament to remember and we have seen everything this season from thrilling matches to major controversies. We have seen the top-ranked players rule the competition and some young and upcoming players surprise everyone on the day. Overall this has been a Grand Slam event filled with a lot of drama and intensity which all of us have enjoyed.

The biggest story that has been trending in the tournament is Novak Djokovic's reply to the fans as he went on to give an epic reply to the fans who were most likely booing him. This was Djokovic being himself and enjoying himself giving it back to the fans in his style. There were still some people who did not agree with this reply from the Serbian who think that the fans were just cheering Holger Rune and did not intend to boo the former World number.

Kyrgios gives his support

There were a lot of people who did not agree with Djokovic even when the fans were booing him, but there were some players who did not oppose this at all. One of them was former Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios who had also spent some time as the 24-time Grand Slam champion. Kyrgios gave his statement in support of the living legend saying "He's driven, one of the best players in the world and I've seen it time and time again, the crowd try to poke the bear and that's not what you want to do against Novak. He loves it. I try not to poke the bear when I play him…and I really struggle with that. Obviously, it cost me my Wimbledon final."

This was not all as Kyrgios went on to keep defending Djokovic on Twitter as well as a fan went on to say that the rant was influenced by him to which he had a perfect reply saying 'Maybe. I love it'. This is the support given by one aggressive player to another, which makes sense to all of us as major Tennis fans.
