The social media accounts of the Australian star Nick Kyrgios seem to be buzzing a lot nowadays as compared to his tennis racquet, and his target has been the ATP number one, Jannik Sinner. The 29-year-old tennis star has waged war against Jannik Sinner and, to a lesser extent, on the women's star and WTA number two Iga Swiatek over failing a doping test last year. The Canberra-born star has now made it personal with the Italian star, despite his gripe supposedly being the punishments imposed.

It's worth mentioning to note that the 23-year-old Italian star tested positive for the Clostebol, but there was an extremely minor gram found in his samples. Sinner's team further claimed that he had taken the prohibited substance accidentally, not intentionally, after his physio used the drug to cut on his own finger, many experts said it would have no effect on the player's performance. The Italian-born star tested positive for the banned substance during the Indian Wells 2024, and his winning amount was also stripped off. However, the world number one, commendably remained silent on this situation despite the Australian star insulting him in the social media.

However, Jannik Sinner finally breaks his silence when he is asked about Nick Kyrgios' behavior ahead of the Australian Open 2025, a tournament where he aims to defend his title.

“I don't think I have to answer this, to be honest. How do I block it? It's not that you just put it in a part and you just say I don't think any more about this. In my mind I know exactly what happened, and that's how I block it, no? I haven't done anything wrong. That's why I'm still here. That's why I'm still playing. I don't want to respond on what Nick said or what other players says. I think the most important part is to have my people around me who contrast people, they exactly know what happened. That's it,” Jannik Sinner said, as being quoted by Tennis Letter.
