Former World number 10 and US Open champion Emma Raducanu has no regrets from her 2024 season even after Great Britain failed to make it to the Billie Jean King Cup finals after a loss to Slovakia in the Semi-finals of the BJK Cup. The 22-year-old superstar says some things happen for a reason.
There have been many players who were trying to make an impact after coming back from injury and one of them is 2021 US Open champion and former World number 10 Emma Raducanu. Though we did see glimpses of some brilliant tennis from her she could not really get back on top of the rankings due to fitness issues which have also kept her from playing some big tournaments this season.
Raducanu has no regerets in 2024
This might have not been the most flawless season for Raducanu, but it is safe to say that she ended it in great fashion. She was one of the best performers for Great Britain in the BJK Cup where she remained unbeaten in all the matches. This was one of the best series that we saw from her, even though she failed to make it to the finals. Raducanu has talked about her season saying, "Even if I was a little bit at the time disappointed, now I feel pretty good, and I don't look back with any regrets. I think you just have to use whatever cards that you're dealt. I think you can't change a situation or I couldn't in that moment. You know, not trying to live in the past or the future, just being present. You know, trying to adapt with what you've got."
This statement proves that Raducanu is currently having a positive mindset and we all will be looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us next season. We all are hoping we get to see Raducanu continue in the same form she had in the Billie Jean King Cup.
