Tennis legend Novak Djokovic has recently revealed his son Stefan's favourite tournament on the ATP tour. The Serbian ace said that his 10-year-old child loves to visit the Wimbledon Championship in London every year. The star player was seen talking about his future in this game and his family line off the court.
Novak Djokovic proudly admitted that his elder child loved to visit England to watch his father competing in the Wimbledon Championships. He revealed that the junior Djokovic felt ecstatic after enjoying his time in the third Grand Slam of the year. Notably, the Serbian ace has seven Wimbledon titles to his name while reaching the finals in 2023 and 2024, but lost against Carlos Alcaraz on both occasions.
"I’m happy and proud to say that my son’s favourite tournament is Wimbledon. He’s absolutely ecstatic every time we go and he just loves being there. So yeah, it’s constantly about finding new ways to inspire yourself. Because at the end of the day, that’s what gets you up in the morning," Novak Djokovic said.
Novak Djokovic opens up on his current form
Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic also talked about his current form ahead of the French Open 2025. The 24-time major champion has not registered a single win on a clay court this year. He crashed out of the Monte Carlo Masters and Mutua Madrid Open after losing in his opening round itself. However, he did not make his appearance in the Barcelona Open 2025.
Thereafter, he stunned the tennis world after withdrawing from the Italian Open 2025. Despite this, he aims to mark a victory in the Roland Garros slated to take place in the last week of May in Paris. The Serbian ace has spoken about his current form and felt optimistic about staging his comeback in the future.
“Obviously, it’s challenging for me nowadays to produce the results I had when I was at my best. It doesn’t mean that I will never be able to do that again,” Djokovic said.
