Tennis legend Novak Djokovic might miss his next quarterfinal game against Casper Ruud after sustaining grave injuries during the fourth round of the French Open 2024, which took place on June 3. Novak Djokovic's chances of reaching the French Open have become doubtful after suffering a right knee injury during his victory over Francisco Cerundolo on Monday in the fourth round. Notably, the world number one needed to take a lot of medicine to finish the five-set battle, which lasted more than four hours.

Meanwhile, the Serbian revealed that at one point he was lost completely to appear in the fourth round of the Roland Garros; however, quick medication had helped him a lot to mark his presence in the fourth round of the French Open 2024.

The 37-year-old admitted that he was not having much pain during the fifth set of the fourth round; however, he can't stop at this moment from playing his next game. In addition, the legendary player already had the medication from doctors, but there are some concerns and some positive news about him.

"At one point I didn't know whether I should continue or not with what's happening. I got the medications and then, after the third set was done, I asked for more medications and got them," said Djokovic.

"We've done some with the doctor now. Some positive news but also some concerns, so let's see tomorrow. I can't tell you more about it at the moment. I'm glad I was able to play fifth set... without feeling pain I felt for 2-1/2 sets. But you never know what will happen tomorrow. Today I injured myself. I survived. I won the match. Great. But will I be able to play next one? I don't know. I don't know the severity of the injury," added the defending Roland Garros champion.
