The world of Tennis has its fair share of great players in the making that have gone on to becoming world-class athletes. We all celebrate the player's career and how it pans out and it is always a blessing to witness such great players. There is only one unfortunate and inevitable period in the athlete's career where he finally has to retire from the game completely. This is a very emotional and difficult decision for the player, who finally has to bid adieu to the game.

The one player that we have enjoyed watching in this current age is Garbine Muguruza. The Spaniard came onto the scene in 2016 when she beat the likes of Serena Williams in the Roland Garros final. This was the start of a great career coming her way. These two big grand slams were some of the iconic moments in her career and she went to become the world's best as well. This was all together a great career to look back to for Muguruza.

After a great career spanning over 10 years, the great Spaniard has finally retired from the game at the age of 30. It has been a great career where she has been one of the stars in the game for a long time. With winning two of the biggest Grand Slams and winning the WTA finals, it has clearly been one of the most decorated careers in the game. This has been a career everyone will appreciate going forward remembering the triumphs of the all-court aggressive player.

It will be a sad moment for every fan who will finally have to deal with the fact that Muguruza will not be featuring in any WTA or Grand Slam. She has still managed to achieve things other players can only dream of doing going forward. She is definitely a candidate to go into the future 'Tennis Hall of Fame' and is one of the few players to beat the Williams sisters in the Grand Slam finals.
