The WTA season is over and this time we will be diving into the Billie Jean King Cup finals which will be the chance for some of the players to achieve international glory going forward. This is like the Women's World Cup for the players in the sport of tennis.

The Billie Jean King Cup is one of the most prestigious tournaments which is named in honor of one of the greatest Champion Billie Jean King. This will be the 61st edition of the tournament which will feature some of the top Women's tennis players in the World. This is more or less the last tournament of the year with a chance for all the players to gain success for their country in the sport.

What could we expect from the BJK Cup finals?

Like always the tournament will feature 12 teams who will be performing in the tournament and there are some big players in the tournament. The two finalists who had fixed their spot in the finals are Canada and Italy and they will straight away go into the quarter-finals. The Spanish team has also qualified being the host nation with the Czech Republic being the wild card. The other 8 teams to qualify are Australia, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and the United States who qualified through some great performances in in the qualifiers and will look forward to surprising everyone.

Some iconic players are already playing in the tournament as well, with Paula Badosa will be the top player to look out for the host nation, and WTA star Iga Swiatek will also play in the tournament. The Great Britain team will also have the likes of Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter in the ranks. USA will be led by US Open finalist, Jessica Pegula this season as well. Overall, this is set to be another great tournament to celebrate the wonderful talents of Women's Tennis.
