Emma Raducanu reveals her number one goal in her tennis career

There are some great players from Great Britain who we have enjoyed seeing performing in this tournament and it has been a pleasure to see them perform on the big stage. One of the young stars who we all have been looking forward to is none other than Emma Raducanu who was one of the young prodigies who was set to make big strides in the game.

Emma Raducanu started making strides in the game when she won the 2021 US Open at the age of 18 and was set to be the next big thing in English tennis after Andy Murray. However, it has not really been the best of seasons for Raducanu as she is no longer a top 10 ranked player in the contest. Though she has some promising performances in some tournaments, it is safe to say that she needs to win more titles to get back on top of the game once again.

Raducanu reveals her big goal

There is no doubt that raducanu's career has been an absolute roller coaster filled with some drama, disappointment and success. She has also missed some big tournaments this season and some major controversies. However Raducanu has given a statement that has already become viral on social media where she has revealed one of her biggest goals saying " Long term, I want to win Wimbledon. That’s my number one goal. But in the short term, I just want to keep staying healthy and improving my skills. Working on the actual development of them rather than any immediate results - that’s my priority right now.”

There is already a lot of talk regarding this decision on social media on whether raducanu can win one of the most prestigious grand slams like Wimbledon or not. There is no doubt that Emma is one of the most talented young players right now, but she still has to put in a lot of work into winning that tournament. It will really be a huge achievement for her if she manages to achieve this long term goal and prove why she is one of the most backed talents in tennis right now.
