The clay season is already in full flow right now, featuring some of the top players in the game. This is one of the most challenging days for the players who will be looking to dominate this season and win some big titles. The Monte Carlo has already been done and now it is the Barcelona Open and the French Open which is coming up. The Roland Garros will be one of the most iconic tournaments in the whole season which will once again feature this season.

The other thing that the players will also be focussing on is the upcoming Paris Olympics as well. This is the day that the players will not only be pursuing glory for themselves and to stay on top of the rankings, but also make their country proud by winning a medal. There are a lot of tennis players who are looking forward to getting their hands on a medal and making their country proud.

The Olympic plan for the top ATP players

Looking at the competition right now there are a lot of players with the potential of winning a medal for their country. One of the iconic players who will be looking for gold is Novak Djokovic. This is perhaps the only achievement missing in the world number 1’s career so far and the last time he has medalled was a bronze in 2008. The comeback of Rafael Nadal will also be a concern for the Serbian, who will also be playing in clay where he has been dominating everyone and Carlos Alacaraz who will most likely make a comeback and also get his hands on the gold.

These are not the only individuals in the tournament since Jannick Sinner who is in the form of his life right now has his aspirations as well where his coach Simone Vagnozzi has stated “The slams and the Games are the priority. We need to be stable in the rankings, to be among the top 3 or 4 in the world, reach the semi-finals of a slam and go deep in the Masters 1000.” Even Alexander Zverev will be growing with confidence being the last player to win a gold medal in the Olympics for Germany and will want to make it a second. There might also be surprises since there are speculations that fellow countrymen Carlos Alcaraz and Nadal might also team together for the doubles as well. Overall we are in for a big ride in the upcoming Olympics that will keep us on our feet.
