Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will face each other in yet another final in the 2025 season. In the Cincinnati Open 2025, Sinner overcame Térence Atmane 7-6(4), 6-2 in the Semifinal. Likewise, Alcaraz claimed a dominant win of 6-4, 6-3 against Alexander Zverev in his Semifinal match. They will face each other in the final on August 17.
Sinner faced a tough time in the first set against the French, as there was a tiebreaker round. The Italian held his nerves to claim a lead, which changed the momentum towards his side. In the second set, the World No.1 brought his A game, gave little to no chance for the World No.23, and progressed to the final.

On the other hand, Alcaraz was up against an ailing Zverev. The Spaniard was at his best and had a straightforward outing. The World No.2 won the first set 6-4 and dominated his opponent in the second set 6-3 to clinch a spot in the final. Despite his good efforts, the World No.3 failed to avoid yet another Sinner-Alcaraz final.
