There have been a lot of top talents in tennis this season, but the man who has been making the headlines is world number 2 and 3-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard is currently on a high after winning the Roland Garros this season and will be looking for some more success this season. With this win, he also jumped from number 3 to number 2 in the rankings and is still looking in great form this season.

Carlos Alcaraz has already started his Grass season as he is currently featuring in the Queen's Club Championship. The Spaniard has had a great start to his season already as he went on to beat Francisco Cerundolo in two straight sets. He is now set to play his second-round game against Jack Draper tomorrow in hopes of getting to the quarter-finals and continuing his title defence in the Queen's Club.

Carlos asks for the match to be scheduled early

Though we all know that there is one sport that defines the athlete, that does not mean that they cannot love any other sport. According to some reports Alcaraz has requested that his match against Draper be scheduled early and the reason for this as suggested is in hopes of watching the Euro 2024 match between Spain and Italy. There are already mixed reactions from the fans about the news and there are some who are against this notion as well. Some fans are supporting him for wanting to witness his nation playing one of the biggest football tournaments in the world and showing his support.

Overall we do not know the entire story of this news whether it is for selfish reasons or just showing support for the nation. We all have to wait and see what the association will decide on this matter and will go on accept this notion from the Roland Garros champion. We hope we get to know more about this news going forward into the ATP 500 tournament.
