It clearly seems that Carlos Alcaraz is currently on the way to winning his first French Open title, as he recently defeated JJ Wolf in the opening round with ease, dropping just four games. Meanwhile, Alcaraz hasn't had a completely trouble-free clay court season yet; it was a decisive way to start the event.

Meanwhile, the Spaniard trounced Madrid and Barcelona and advanced to the semifinals with just a single set lost. Notably, the game was expected to be spectacular, but Alcaraz's injuries prevented the crowd from witnessing a thrilling conclusion and caused the match to end in an uneven manner. Alcaraz could, however, draw one significant benefit from that heartbreaking setback rather than focusing on the drawbacks.

However, he accepted that he had learned a lot from the semi-final game despite losing it, and the situation helped him make the decisions. The young player is hopeful about playing it for more rounds.

“I’m trying to learn from situations, to learn from tournaments and matches. It seems like I’m two years in the tour and from now I’ve achieved great things with the two slams. But I’m still learning, from the first rounds, from every match. I learn a lot here from the semi-final with Djokovic, thanks to that match I could win Wimbledon. And everything I’ve done is thanks to the previous situations, the previous matches I’ve played," said Carlos Alcaraz.

Carlos Alcaraz has also talked about his emotions just after the semi-final defeat against Novak Djokovic.  The 21-year-old also revealed his practice sessions during his injury period.

“Coming to this tournament one year later after the semi-final, I want to say I’m a different player, more mature, I grew up a lot since that day. I want to feel good every match, feel good every time I step onto court so let’s see how it’s going to be. Everything I’d done in the previous days was good for me," he added further.
