WATCH: Sharaputdin Magomedov stuns crowd with never-seen double spinning backfist at UFC 308

UFC middleweight fighter Sharaputdin Magomedov showed why he is known to be a unique striker in the octagon. The Russian stunned the Abu Dhabi crowd at the Etihad Stadium during the UFC 308 match. Magomedov fought against Armen Petrosyan and knocked him out in the 2nd round.

Magomedov continued his winning run with a never-seen double-spinning back fist to finish Petrosyan. The commentators at the event were also shocked to see the clean striking from the fighter. Many believe that this kind of knockout was never seen before in the history of UFC.

Russia constantly producing talented fighters

There have been multiple MMA fighter from Russia who have cemented their names in UFC. Fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makachev and now Sharaputdin Magomedov are the prime examples of how Russia have constantly produced talented fighters.

Talking about UFC 308, the main event is set to be the featherweight championship between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway. On the other hand, the co-main event will see Khamzat Chimaev going against Robert Whittaker. UFC 308 has been called one of the most brutal cards of the year so far and there is no lie. 

There are multiple stars who were spotted at the Etihad Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Star footballer Sergio Ramos was also spotted at the arena. Interestingly, Ramos came to support his fellow Spanish athlete Topuria for his championship bout against Holloway. UFC star Yair Rodrigues was also spotted at the arena.
