Anshul Jubli gave a nightmarish performance in the UFC 312 as he lost to the Australian debutant Quillan Salkilld in just 19 seconds via a Knockout punch in their lightweight bout at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. A solid right-hand punch was enough for the emerging fighter to knock the Indian fighter out of the contest in the first round of the early prelims.
The referee stopped the fight as he found a conclusive winner. Despite Jubli filing a protest, Quillan emerged victorious and celebrated his massive win on debut. The match turned out to be the second-fastest finish in the history of the Lightweight category. Terrance McKinney holds the record for the fastest bout where he claimed a win in seven seconds.

'I knew he led with his lead hand' - Quillan Salkilld on Anshul Jubli
In 2023, Jubli lost to Mike Breeden and did not get a chance to fight since then. Despite having better experience than the Australian, the Indian fighter could not get the job done. It turned out to be an embarrassing moment for Jubli and India.
However, Australia's Quillan celebrated the win and claimed to be speechless. Salkilld said he could not have asked for a better debut. The emerging star claimed he was aware of Anshul's weaknesses and strengths. Quillan said only $50000 in his bank would make him feel better than his UFC debut win.
"I have no words for it. The perfect ending for my debut in Sydney. I knew he led with his lead hand, his lead hand was always away from his face. Dream come true. The only thing that would make it better is an extra $50,000 in the bank," said Quillan.
