Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul during the weigh-in before their match. The veteran sent a clear message that the time for talks between the two was over. While Jake claimed that he did not even feel it, the fans wondered the reason behind Mike's move. It was revealed that Jake stepping on Mike's foot was the reason behind him getting slapped.

Netflix is set to stream the match online on the 15th of November. It will be the first match of Tyson in 15 long years. The heated moment between Mike Tyson and Paul spiced up their bout which already had enough hype. Their match was initially set to take place in July.

However, it got postponed due to the health issues of the veteran. The duo has however maintained to keep the hype intact for the bout. In the weigh-in event, Mike's weight was measured to be 228.4 pounds. Likewise, Jake's weight was found to be 227.2 pounds. 

Mike Tyson's friend reveals the reason behind the veteran slapping Jake Paul

Jake jumped up on the podium where Mike was posing for the images. In the process, he stepped onto the foot of the 58-year-old. It did not go well with Mike who ended up slapping the brother of Logan Paul. The segment went viral on social media instantly and the fans seemed to have loved it.

After getting slapped, the 27-year-old reacted. Jake claimed that he did not even feel it. Paul regarded Tyson to be angry and regarded him to be a small baby. Jake felt the slap was cute. "I didn’t even feel it – he’s angry. He’s an angry little elf…cute slap buddy," said Paul.

As the fans started to wonder about the reason behind the attack from Mike, one of the veteran's friends named Tom Patti revealed the reason behind the move. He confirmed that Jake stepping on Tyson's foot led to him getting slapped. "Jake stepped on Mike’s foot, which prompted the reaction. I was there and Mike just told me," said Patti.
