Tony Khan was served a huge blow AEW WrestleDream event. The AEW Dynamite show was seen by just 329,000 people according to Wrestlenomics. This is a huge drop from the last week’s show as the ratings fell by 52% according to Wrestlenomics. WWE NXT on the other hand was seen by 874,000 viewers to claim a huge win over AEW.

All Elite Wrestling has suffered a huge blow just weeks after signing a new deal with Warner Brothers Discovery. On the other hand, WWE NXT has moved to CW Network and this is their second week on the new network. Last week the likes of CM Punk headlined the show in the debut episode on the CW Network.

This week there were more stars who came to WWE NXT which included Randy Orton. The 14-time WWE champion was the main event of the show in front of his home fans in ST Louis. The show also featured the debut of Stephanie Vaquer who came out to assist Giulia against Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade.

Huge jolt for AEW Dynamite ahead of massive show

Noted wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer took to X and wrote “NXT did 874K/0.24, AEW did 329K/0.10 last night. It's very clear at this point AEW's audience unlike two years ago is choosing WWE and they have less of an exclusive audience than before”

The main event of the AEW Dynamite show featured Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta taking on PAC and Claudio Castagnoli. It was the team of Yuta and Danielson that won the match. Jon Moxley tried to sneak in and attack Danielson but the AEW World Champion repelled the attack and ended the show with a huge ‘Yes’ chant with the crowd.

WWE NXT had Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair team up with Kelani Jordan. The three women won their match against the Fatal Influence to start the show. Randy Orton beat Je’ Von Evans in the main event of the WWE NXT show. The veteran WWE star then shook hands with his opponent.

Ethan Page was then told to fight Evans and Wes Lee in a triple-threat match to face Trick Williams for the NXT title. AEW on the other hand were served a huge jolt ahead of the WrestleDream event. The latest ratings show that WWE are currently ruling the roost in the Pro wrestling landscape and AEW is clutching at straws as far as fandom is concerned.
