The segment between MJF and Jeff Jarrett on AEW Dynamite was criticized by the fans for its formation and execution. It involved MJF taking a dig at Jeff by referring to his Karen Jarrett and using Owen Hart's death to trigger him. Fans felt it was unnecessary to use Owen's death to get the heat as it was a tragic Wrestling moment.

MJF went too personal into Jeff's life in the segment on AEW Dynamite. The former world champion claimed that he would be a Hall of Famer if he retires at the point and said Jarrett had not done anything significant in his career with his might. MJF claimed everything was handed to Jarrett in his life.

He said Jarrett formed a Wrestling company with the help of his brother. He then took a dig at the reports claiming him to be an Alcohol addict. Jeff had nothing to reply to but smiled at every personal dig of Jarrett. MJF sensed that the fans were not reacting the way they were supposed to.

MJF uses Karren Jarrett and Owen Hart to trigger Jeff Jarrett on AEW Dynamite

The star wrestler hence went even personal and referred to Jeff's wife. He called Karren Jarrett a beautiful and se*y woman. Jeff even smiled at it and replied saying everything MJF talked about was proven wrong in the past. He seemed to be unscathed in the arena.

MJF was mad that Jarrett refused to take his help to become a world champion. He hence went even personal and targeted Jeff's late friend, Owen Hart. MJF claimed that Jeff rode the coattails of his dead friend. While Jarrett smiled at everything, he could not control his anger after Owen was mentioned.

Jarrett attacked MJF and the security guards had to intervene to stop their brawl. MJF did not stop there and threatened Jeff by using Karren. Fans felt the total segment was poorly written and executed. They believed that there was no need to mention the death of Owen to get the heat.
