Ricochet scared Hangman Page to death by pump-faking Swerve Strickland's theme during his entrance in the Casino Gauntlet match on AEW Dynamite. The former WWE Superstar later came with his theme, and Page was relieved that he was only tricked. Ricochet was over the fans with the segment and could be taken more seriously in the upcoming weeks.

The Casino Gauntlet match featured star-studded wrestlers like Kyle O'Reilly, Adam Cole, Jay White, Powerhouse Hobbs, Wheeler Yuta, and Jeff Jarrett, apart from Hangman and Ricochet. Hobbs eventually claimed a win and took a direct dig at Jon Moxley in front of his wife, Renee Paquette. The Casino Gauntlet match turned out to be good.

The match had some good spots. Adam delivering a series of Superkicks one after the other, Hobbs' spine buster to claim the win, and Hangman mimicking Hobbs were some of the highlights of the match. Ricochet coming out to Swerve's theme was probably the best of the lot. 

Ricochet gets over fans by pump-faking Swerve Strickland's theme on AEW Dynamite

The sequence probably helped Ricochet to get over the fans. The talented wrestler was not taken very seriously by the fans before the last couple of weeks. His feud with Will Ospreay and others seemed random and did not have an impact on him. But the ongoing feud with Swerve might be highly necessary for him.

At AEW World End, Strickland embarrassed Ricochet badly by throwing toilet paper on his face and asking the fans to do the same to wish him a New Year. It probably fired up Ricochet, which led him to return the favour on AEW Dynamite by smashing Swerve's head with a pair of scissors.

On the latest episode of Dynamite, the star wrestler scared Page to death by playing Swerve's theme. Hangman and Swerve are two of the biggest haters of each other. By giving the reference in his entrance, Ricochet got over the fans. He will have Strickland's attention in their feud, which should help Ricochet elevate his character.
