Ricochet proved haters wrong by claiming a win over Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite. The star wrestler proved himself to be Main-Event worthy by delivering a great match against the former world champion. He made a statement by proving himself to be a different and a better version of himself than when he was in WWE.

The match between Swerve and Ricochet turned out to be good. Strickland woke the inner bad person in Ricochet at AEW Worlds End when he threw the tissue papers along with the fans to mock him. It forced Ricochet to turn heel and be an aggressive version of himself. In the following weeks, the former WWE Superstar went after Strickland and Prince Nana.
