Vince McMahon has been away from World Wrestling Entertainment for the last few years. The move came out after an accusation came from Janel Grant against the former WWE owner and promoter.
Vince McMahon bears it all in Netflix special
The video opens with Vince McMahon saying “People have wondered who I really am. Portrayal of me is I am a bad guy. But no one really knows me” The video then shows archived footage of Vince McMahon during his long tenure in the WWE.
Wrestling superstars like Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and John Cena make an appearance. Towards the end of the video, his ongoing lawsuit with Janel Grant is also addressed.
The whole documentary addresses how Vince McMahon got into the business including buying WWE from his father Vince McMahon Senior. Many of his previous controversies like the Steroid scandal and Chris Benoit's death are also addressed.
This is the first time in 17 years that the entire Chris Benoit controversy will be spoken about. WWE has barred any mention of the former Wrestler after the reported double suicide and murder.
Former WWE star Mandy Rose while speaking to Aflred Konuwa from Forbes touched on the upcoming Netflix special. Rose said “I do plan on watching that. Yes, for sure. I know a few of my friends actually have messaged me it thinking that I know things and all these, you know what I mean? I'm like, oh, I know,”
“I'm excited to see it. But I am excited to see that because, excited and a little nervous, not going to lie. They're saying that they really are putting everything out there, so it's going to be interesting and it's kind of wild. I don't know, especially with everything the past few years.” Added Mandy Rose
