Mustafa Ali appeared on tonight's TNA iMPACT show to address the fans about the footage that played during Against All Odds over two weeks ago, in which he was trashing Chicago, his purported birthplace. Ali claims the footage is false before getting down to business.

Mustafa Ali says he's looking for a new adversary, whether from this locker room or another. He instructs some supporters to stop yelling "Speedball". He attempts to get security to kick them out of the arena. One fan pours water onto Ali, who then tackles the fan and drags him over the guard rail. Ali tosses the fan into the ring and resumes the beating. Mike Bailey dives into the ring and saves the day. Trent Seven soon follows.

Ali and Bailey fight and then are apprehended by security. Ali runs around the outside of the ring and tackles Bailey as he exits. Ali claims that Bailey damaged his homecoming, and he plans to ruin Bailey's homecoming at Slammiversary when they compete for the TNA X Division Title.

Mustafa Ali has dominated the professional wrestling scene since his exit from WWE in September. Ali has accepted bookings all over the independent circuit, and in the thick of it, he has established himself in TNA. Ali is gathering momentum as the new X-Division Champion after earning it at TNA No Surrender in February, even though he is not hired by the promotion and competes only on appearance, according to Fightful Select.

Ali is scheduled to defend the X-Division Championship against Jake Something at TNA Rebellion in April. The PLE comes from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, which has become kind of a home base for TNA when they began traveling to Sin City. Something has dominated the men's division since joining TNA/IMPACT again in the summer of 2023. Not too long after his comeback, he even participated in an Ultimate X bout.
