Mariah May won the AEW Women's World Championship for the first time on Sunday at the All-In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London, defeating her old mentor Toni Storm. Storm had a moral dilemma, which May took advantage of. Although she had done so in the past, the champion declined to use her white shoe as a weapon against the challenger.

AEW's All-In event at Wembley Stadium awarded numerous new winners. Mariah May defeated Toni Storm in one of the night's most anticipated matchups, winning the AEW Women's Title. May had the opportunity to address fans as champion this week, on August 28th's Dynamite episode.

Mariah May displayed confidence after winning at All In, even delivering a eulogy for "Timeless" Toni Storm, which became a highlight of the post-event press conference. Riding high on that momentum, she brought her outgoing personality to Champaign, Illinois, for this week's event.

Watch here the video:

The title celebration of AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May was eagerly awaited. When the big moment finally arrived, she stunned everyone by saying that the celebration would have to wait. She had promised something spectacular. "In this town, I'm not doing it. She said, "I know it's called Champaign, but it should be changed to flat, stale, piss-warm beer," which caused the audience to react negatively.

Mariah May went on to say that the community needs some elegance

Undeterred by the frosty greeting, Mariah May went on to say that the community needs some elegance, which she symbolizes. With a theatrical flourish, she teased the audience, stating that she would demonstrate what she meant. She then removed her robe, revealing black underwear and the   Women's World Title.

As we look ahead, it's evident that Mariah May has generated a lot of buzz and isn't hesitant to stir things up. Her sharp tongue and dominating presence make her a fearsome champion, but it's unknown who she'll face at All Out on September 7. One thing is certain: Mariah May is a formidable opponent, and her next move will be worth watching.
