Luther returned to AEW Collision with the shoe and joined Toni Storm to confront Mariah May. As the world champion tried to attack Luther, Toni came to his aid and chased May through the arena. Mariah took Luther out after her Owen Hart Tournament win which kept him out of action for nearly half a year.

Mariah and Toni confronted each other one last time before their faceoff at AEW Grand Slam. Before it could happen, Mariah had a match with Thunder Rosa on Collision. That was when Luther's music hit and an enraged manager entered the arena with something in his hand. Toni's manager confronted Mariah who was in shock.

Luther opened the tray and it had the shoe that May used to take out him and Toni after May's Owen Hart Tournament win. Mariah took the shoe and tried to attack Luther similar to how she did in the past. But Luther cleverly escaped the attack and moved out of the ring.

Toni Storm shocks Mariah May on AEW Collision

The world champion shifted her focus towards Toni who was taken out. Mariah lifted the individual in front of her and was in shock. It was Toni out of nowhere and May tried to attack her with the shoe. But Storm got up, had a smile at her opponent, and shocked May.

As Mariah tried to attack Storm, the latter gave back and went after the former. Toni had the momentum and the control of the situation. Mariah was caught off-guard and had no option but to retreat from the scene. May did the same as she ran towards the locker room. Toni chased her through the arena and sent a message ahead of the Grand Slam.

After winning the Owen Hart Tournament in 2024, Mariah snapped and shocked Toni. She went after her former mentor and manager Luther. While Storm returned a few weeks after the shocking attack, Luther remained out of action for weeks. His return was a statement that Timeless Toni Storm and he were officially back.
