The match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page at AEW 'All Out' was one of the most brutal Wrestling matches in the recent past. It was a match that was a result of pure hate between the two individuals. Hangman burning Swerve's house which was brought by him a few hours before the incident probably burnt the fire in Swerve to have a brutal match.

The duo was set for a brutal match. It was an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage match and the company had claimed that "AEW can't be held responsible for what happens in Chicago at All Out". It not only lived up to the expectations of the fans but went beyond them as the two wrestlers displayed how the two hated each other to the core.

The match began with Hangman Page bringing barbed wire. The tone for the match was set right up there. For the rest of the main event, the fans witnessed one of the most brutal matches in the last few years. Both wrestlers went to extreme levels of violence and nearly tried to kill each other. A cinder block acted as the centre of attraction between the two.

Unmatched level of violence at AEW All Out 2024

Swerve Strickland executed the Vertebreaker through the cinder block. Involving blood seemed like a bare minimum criterion and both wrestlers lived on to it. A wooden piece was used by Swerve to hit Page's head. The latter returned the favour by using a knife against the former. Page then slammed Swerve's back on the cinder block. There was literal bloodshed in the main event of 'All Out'.

Page got a syringe and used it to block Swerve's teeth. He then slammed Swerve through the steel chair. The fans claimed it to be the most violent match lately. Not many matches across promotions have witnessed such a match lately. Back in time, WWE used to have brutal matches in the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era, which came down gradually in the PG Era.
