Mariah May cried as she could not celebrate her championship win on AEW Dynamite. Yet another week has passed by since AEW 'All In' where Mariah has failed to celebrate her win. She claimed something or someone was missing to celebrate her moment. May realized that it was none other than Mina Shirakawa who was not by her side to celebrate the title win.
It is worth noting that Mariah May has a great relationship with Mina. When the Japanese wrestler made her AEW debut, May and Mina shared a kiss with each other which broke the interent. Their relationship goes back a long and has stood strong with time. In the current promtion, the duo got close to Toni Storm before May betrayed her former mentor.

Mina and Toni had a feud with each other. May acted as the bridge between the two and ensured their feud was not violent. When it was done, all three of them were on the same page and got closer together. Hence, when May attacked Toni, Mina was truly heartbroken and failed to pick a side. Since then, Mina Shirakawa has not spoken to Toni or May.
Mariah May's long awaited title celebration
After winning the world title at 'All In', May has been trying to celebrate her moment. However, there have been many interruptions in the process. May did not want to celebrate in London and postponed the event. She did not have a chance the following week due to maiden title defense. Everything seemed to have come to place in Chicago at AEW 'All Out'. But it did not turn into reality.
May herself attacked Skye Blue and had to face the wrath of Queen Aminata. Hence, the celebration got postponed to the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. However, May did not feel the energy to celebrate. She broke down and felt something or someone was missing to celebrate with her. She realized that it was Mina and hoped to see her join to celebrate the title win.
