WATCH: Jon Moxley opens up on turning against Bryan Danielson on AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley cut a promo and revealed the reason behind turning against Bryan Danielson. In the latest episode of AEW Dynmaite, the star wrestler spoke on behalf of the Blackpool Combat Club. He said that he didn't enjoy what he did and added that he did what he had to. Jon said he chose war against Daniel who had changed a lot in years.

Jon Moxley felt Bryan did not have the stomach to endure what they did to him. He recalled what the duo promised to build a couple of years ago - Something tangible, real, sustainable, something they could take pride in, something that could not be destroyed, something they could be proud of, and would last for years even after they're gone.

Jon added that he and Bryan Danielson thought to do it not for the sake of money or recognition. He felt it was worth doing. Moxley regarded Daniel as the epitome of empathy and patience. The former IWGP claimed Bryan was the greatest he ever knew. However, he felt that Bryan was no more the person he once was. Jon added that Danielson had an ego that was dominating the entire AEW locker room.

Moxley added that he could not take Bryan's ego anymore. Jon accepted that Bryan knew the wheels of history and said he called him the perfect wrestler. Moxley said Bryan saw himself in Jon and accepted that he was nowhere close to being perfect. Moxley added that he could not pretend to be someone else. The former WWE Superstar said he was neither a hero nor a villain.

Moxley realized why god put him in the place he was. He claimed himself to be the one true king of the place. Jon said diplomacy had failed between them and claimed that he had chosen war. Moxley sat on the jeep and departed from the arena. The fans felt it was a great promo from Jon and felt he had a reason to turn against Bryan.
