The World of Wrestling is on a high after the iconic WrestleMania XL where we saw some big stars of the WWE and great matches as well. This was perhaps one of the WrestleMania we have ever seen filled with some of the most iconic moments in wrestling. There was a huge roar in Philadelphia when Cody Rhodes finally ended the reign of Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and from there we have had plenty of great storylines which the people have enjoyed.
There is no doubt that the feud between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes was the main crux of this WrestleMania, but we also enjoyed some big stars who made it into the scene as well. The likes of John Cena, The Rock and the Undertaker featuring in the main event made it even better. However, there was still one more star who we were missing and that is none other than WWE hall of famer and former champion Stone Cold Steve Austin who we were sure would have made an entrance in the match as well.
Texas rattlesnake gives his reasons
There were a whole lot of fans who would have loved to see Steven Austin in this match knowing that he has had a history The Rock as well. Though we still enjoyed the show the fans still wanted to know the reason for Austin missing the event. The Texas Rattlesnake finally opened up on the reason saying " It was close, and they certainly reached out to me, and we had conversations, but my wife and I had some things going on that I didn’t need to go to Philly at that time."
There will be people who will criticise Austin for missing the event, but we have to respect his decision for putting his family first. It turns out most of the fans have also agreed with his choice for missing the event. However, with all the surprises we are getting from WWE we can surely expect that someday we might get a special appearance fro Stone Cold Steve Austin in the future and we are sure we all will enjoy it.
