AEW changes Adam Copeland's name to 'Rated-R Superstar Cope' on AEW Dynamite (Source: X)
Adam Copeland's name was changed by AEW on Dynamite. The Rated-R Superstar will be known as 'Rated-R Superstar Cope' from 2025. In WWE, Adam was known with the ring name of Edge, which was changed to Adam Copeland by AEW. His name has been changed again after joining FTR to form 'Rated FTR' at AEW Worlds End.
Adam returned at the PLE earlier this week and took on the Death Riders. It led to a match between the two factions in the main event of the night. It was Cope's first match in over 7 months and he felt happy about it. Adam expressed his happiness of returning to the ring as an active wrestler.
He appreciated the people if Asheville who have tough challenges by default. Cope felt people in the region pick themselves up after fighting hurricanes every now and then. He sent a message to the Death Riders and did not allow them to run away from the arena like they regularly do.

While Cope got a piece of Jon Moxley, the Death Riders somehow escaped and saved themselves. FTR addressed the fans who showed up to watch them. Dax was proud of the people of Asheville and said they were fighters. He claimed moving to the place was the second best decision he made in his life.
While Dax claimed having the daughter to be the best decision of his life, he was happy to be in Asheville. He recalled the last time a show happened in the arena and the stadium could not pack. He compared it to the latest episode and thanked the fans for filling the stadium.
Fax claimed that the countdown to the end of Death Riders was started by them. He claimed the trio had a plan to overcome Moxley and Co. Adam joined the conversation and hoped to do what they set upon. In the upcoming weeks, Death Riders and Rated FTR are likely to have a big feud.
