WATCH: Mike Tyson's ‘Badass’ walk to the ring ahead of his bout with Jake Paul

Boxing legend Iron Mike Tyson makes a splendid entry ahead of his huge fight with YouTube sensation Jake Paul which ultimately saw Paul winning the contest.

Veteran boxing legend Mike Tyson has come out of retirement to take on YouTube star Jake Paul in a boxing match. The widely anticipated match is taking place at the AT&T Stadium based in Arlington Texas. Mike Tyson at the age of 58 was seen putting in huge work to fight Jake Paul. 

This is the first time in 19 years that Tyson has set foot in the boxing ring. So far, the former World Champion has fought 58 bouts. Out of which 50 of them were wins with 6 losses and two matches ending in no contests. Out of the 50 wins that Tyson had in his career 44 were via Knock-outs with an incredible 88% KO rate.

Netflix put up a short video of Mike Tyson walking to the ring. The 58-year-old could be seen walking with purpose and menace in his eyes. There has been huge anticipation for the fight on the return of Mike Tyson to the ring has created a huge buzz. 

Jake Paul on the other hand has fought mostly against MMA fighters. His bouts against Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz were huge box-office attractions. So far, Jake Paul has fought 11 bouts and won 10 of them and lost 1 which was against Thomas Fury. 

Jake Paul beats Mike Tyson thanks to unanimous decision

There were huge cheers as the bell rang with both the fighters sizing each other up. Mike Tyson was seen glaring at Jake Paul as both fighters began slowly. Both fighters landed a few heavy punches to start the contest. 

By the time the third round began, Jake Paul started showing his dominance with a few lusty blows on Tyson. The 58-year-old was seen taking a lot of heavy punches from Paul during the round. 

There was a Tyson comeback with the former World Champion showing his class and landing a few punches of his own. When the fifth round ended the scores were more or less even with Jake Paul leading by a very thin margin. 

At the end of the fight, both Paul and Tyson could be seen applauding each other. By the end of the bout, Jake Paul won his 11th match of his career. The referees awarded the match in favor of the 27-year-old via unanimous decision. Speaking to Ariel Helwani at the end of the contest, Tyson said "Totally happy with what I did". The former legendary fighter also gave props to Jake Paul for an amazing fight and called him a tremendous fighter.
