On Monday, S Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump slammed the Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony. He labelled it as a "disgrace". According to reports, his comments were directly to the ceremony’s creators as they pushed the show beyond the limits. Speaking with Fox News, Donald Trump stated, "I'm very open-minded, but I thought what they did was a disgrace."

This happened after the incident of a scene with drag performers, dancers and DJ in positions evoking the ‘Last Supper’ was denounced by French bishops and Catholic organizations. The picture was not meant to represent the religious occasion as the creators of the event made it clear.  Donald Trump Jr. son of Donald Trump also expressed criticisms about the opening ceremony. He described it as “satanic” imagery performances. A lot of people saw it as a spoof of ‘The Last Supper’ by Leonardo da Vinci.

He said that when he was younger, he used to get thrilled about the games. Taking to X, he stated, “Now with the ever-predictable (and seemingly satanic to me) drag queen opening ceremonies and never-ending BS, no one I know even thinks about it beyond maybe watching some highlights," as per India Today.

“It’s such a shame that an event that used to create so much national pride now creates, at best, indifference,” he stated. “Using the games to push woke ideology has zero to do with anything the games stand for.”

The host of the show Laura Ingraham asked about what he would do if you got reelected as US president by the time of the 2028 Olympics which will take place in Los Angeles. Donald Trump gave an epic reply, "We won't be having a 'Last Supper' as portrayed the way they portrayed it last night", as reported by the Economic Times.
