5. Brazil vs China – 1988 Olympics
In 1988 Brazil had a tough group stage which included China. In the same Olympics, Brazil defeated Egypt by 138-85. On 20th September Brazil faced China in group stage match. In first half of the game Brazil scored 72 points and by second half added more 58 points as they defeated China by 130-108.
4. USA vs China – 1996 Olympics
USA and China are the two biggest rivals in basketball. In 1996 Olympics games the two nations faced each other and USA thrashed China by the score of 133-70. As the game got started USA were dominating the game. As the match reached half-time USA were leading by 65-28 and later won the match. Later USA won the Olympic gold in basketball.
3. Brazil vs India – 1980 Olympics
In the 1980 Olympics Indian basketball team faced Brazil. This game turned out to be worse for India as Brazil defeated India by 137-64. India lost all the group-stage games in the 1980 Olympics. Brazil dominated the whole tournament but couldn’t win the gold in the Olympics. The match took place in the group stage as by halftime Brazil was in the lead of 66-38 and in the second half, they scored 72 points and ended up winning the game by 138-85. Going to the quarterfinals Brazil lost to the Soviet Union by the score of 110- 105.
1. USA vs Nigeria – 2012 Olympics
During the 2012 Olympics USA were facing Nigeria in Olympics game. USA squad was having big stars like Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Kobe Bryant. However, the game was one sided for USA as they won the match against them. USA won the game against Nigeria by the score of 156-73 there was big difference of 83 points.
