Zinedine Zidane picks top five players in history of football

Zinedine Zidane is considered one of the most humble and down-to-earth players in the world. Another one of his instances has been highlighted recently on social media. In an old interview, Zidane was asked on who he thinks are the best five players in the history of the beautiful game and he said, "I'll put more (laughs): Maradona, Pelé, Cruyff, Di Stefano, Platini, Messi, the two Ronaldos, and... Francescoli."

Vinicius Junior was instructed by Zinedine Zidane to emulate two Real Madrid players in order to succeed. With victories in La Liga as well as the Champions League last season, as well as a player of the match performance during the latter's final versus Borussia Dortmund, the Brazilian has had the best 12 months of his playing career to date.

However, his first priority for the 2024–2025 season will be to help Real Madrid recover from their recent downturn. The defending Champions League champions have six points after losing two out of their four opening stage matches, first to Lille and then, most recently, to AC Milan.
