FC Barcelona's Captain Fantastic, aka Raphinha, has been in the best form of his life this season. He has emerged as the player with the highest goal contributions across European competitions this season.
In a recent interview with a Spanish media outlet, the winger revealed different aspects of his career moving forward into the next season. FC Barcelona are set to face Real Madrid in their virtual 'title-decider' Laliga clash.

Raphinha wants to stay at Barcelona
As per the reports of Mundo Deportivo, a key point in the interview was when the Brazilian was asked about his future at Barcelona. He responded immediately, indicating that his focus is on a contract renewal.
Raphinha further asserted that his focus is on reaching the pinnacle of European football with his favourite club, Barcelona. He disclosed that he is at peace with his place in the team and is enjoying his tenure at the Catalan club. He also revealed that never in his life had he imagined that he would enjoy Barcelona so much.
“What’s next? My renewal!” Raphinha said.
“Thinking about reaching the top of football without Barcelona is illogical. Honestly, I'm enjoying it all a lot right now. I didn't expect it even in my dreams," Raphinha added.
Raphinha is currently under contract with the Blaugrana until 2027, yet discussions regarding a renewal are already underway. His remarks in this interview reflect a strong desire to continue with the Catalan club, and it is hoped that both parties can come to a favourable agreement in this regard. Raphinha will feature in Barcelona's next clash against Real Madrid in season's final El-Classico.
