WATCH: Jadon Sancho fires incredible long-range goal against Tottenham Hotspur

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are clashing against each other in the English Premier League fixture. It is a golden opportunity for the Blues to close their gap with the table-toppers Liverpool who are at the top with 35 points in 14 matches. Chelsea are currently at third position with 28 points.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s star player, Jadon Sancho showed why he is recognised as one of the best strikers in the world currently by scoring a long-range goal in the 17th minute of the match. Sancho took his time to aim and unleashed a shot from outside the box with sniper-like precision to give a lifeline to the Blues.

Tottenham scored two early goals

However, before Sancho’s marvellous strike, the Spurs had already scored two goals. The first goal was scored by Dominic Solanke in the 5th minute while the second one was scored by Dejan Kulusevski in the 11th minute. Tottenham are leading with 2-1 after the first half.

Chelsea are looking quite good this season compared to the previous ones and are one of the favourites to win the title. However, to lift the trophy, they have to close the gap with the Reds. They can’t afford a loss from here and will look to utilise every opportunity they will get.

Talking about the match, despite conceding two early goals, the Blues have dominated the game with more possession and shots. Only a win would help Chelsea to climb up in the points table. A draw or a loss would be enough to trouble their chances to win the title.
